I'm absolutely loving this new Wildlight preset for my lifestyle portrait sessions and outdoor adventure photography. It's clean, timeless, and subtle.
I love shooting in nature and have always struggled with the background competing with the subject (insert Ontario's extreme lime-green foliage here!). The masks and gentle cinematic colour grading do a beautiful job of drawing the viewer's eye to the subject without feeling overly stylized or becoming a preset you'll eventually tire of.
I also find myself actually enjoying the subtle tweaks needed to make it my own, rather than having to heavily pull back the edit like I do with some other more stylized presets. I'll definitely continue using these presets in my work!
